The girls are 3 months old! Today El decided she didn’t like tummy time and rolled over to her back. I thought it might have been a fluke so I put her back on her tummy and she almost immediately rolled over again. I know that the girls learn from each other, so it is only a matter of time before Em starts rolling over as well. I caught her trying to roll from her back to her font this morning so she will probably figure out front to back soon. The girls also had an appointment this month to get their weights checked to make sure they are still growing well. El was up to 9lb 6oz and Em was at 8lb 12oz. I measured their heights myself and they are both at 22 inches, so they are continuing to grow really well. El still has some issues with reflux but Em seems to be close to out growing it. El is starting to get better with the reflux, so we are hoping it goes away in another few months. Their pediatrician also said that we can start cereal at 4 months since they are starting to be interested in what we eat and it will help them stay full for longer. It will also help them get more calories so hopefully they will fill out a bit more as they are still pretty skinny.
I did go back to work recently, and they seem to be doing well with their awesome Auntie Yay Yay, they just don’t like napping for her. They don’t nap well at my parents’ house either so it may just be that they need to get used to sleeping somewhere that’s not home. At work I won the spicy salsa category at my work’s salsa challenge for the 2nd year in a row. Anyone who knows me will tell you how absurd that is since I hate spicy food. I honestly have no idea what the salsa tastes like since I’ve never tried it. I get a friend of mine to taste test it for me. Work over all has been good, but I started back during a non-busy time. We are gearing up for our second busiest time of the year so we will see how that goes. As far as how I am handling working during the day, I miss my girls, but it is also nice to get a break from them every now and then.

I also got accepted as a brand rep for baby items which is super exciting for me. I will get to try out and review different babies items that hopefully will be very useful for me. Recently I have been using a new Innobaby 2-in-1 Silicone Bottle Brush, and I love it. The brush is tapered at the end so it can be used to wash nipples as well as the bottles. It is made of silicone so it can be sterilized as well, which I really appreciate. Before I got the Innobaby bottle brush I was using a Munchkin brush that had a nipple brush hidden in the handle, but that one can’t be sterilized and I spent a lot of time going back and forth between the 2 brushes. I had actually been thinking about looking for another brush that had the nipple brush just on the back end instead of hidden somewhere so I would’t have to keep switching brushes. The Innobaby bottle brush is exactly what I was wanting to find. The silicone is soft enough that it can conform to the corners of the Dr. Brown bottles we use and the tip fits in the nipples perfectly, but it still came back to it’s original shape. I did have a slightly hard time using it to begin with, but that was only because I was afraid to hurt the brush and wasn’t using any force with cleaning. Once I got over that issue the brush worked like a dream. This brush has honestly cut down on how long it takes to wash the bottles for the girls, which is wonderful since we have so many to wash with twins. The brush can be ordered from this site (not a referral link) JoliMoli.com, and is definitely worth it in my opinion.
