We’ve made it to 27 weeks! One more week until the 3rd trimester officially hits. I am
now officially working from home because I don’t fit behind the steering wheel of my car anymore. This also means I’m not driving anymore, which has become a little irritating. Every now and then we need something but I can’t go get it because I can’t drive. My parents and a couple of my friends have been gracious enough to drive me when I need them to.
Besides simply getting much bigger I’m having a couple of other symptoms that have shown up recently. I’m not sleeping through the night anymore, as I keep waking up to turn over because I’m uncomfortable after a bit on one side. I’m also having issues with carpal tunnel in my right wrist. This is caused by swelling in my hands an wrists, but it’s made worse by all the typing for work. Right now I’m using a wrist brace at night to try and control how bad it gets, but if it continues to get worse I’m not sure how we’ll end up treating it. The girls are also moving a lot more so you can feel them move from the outside now. They are most active at night or when I’m sitting still for a while.
We want to thank everyone for their support through the journey of infertility and now through pregnancy. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful support group in our lives. We can’t wait to meet the two little blessings God has entrusted to us.
