The girls are now one month old! They have been keeping us on our toes and we have been very busy. They have been to the pediatrician twice now and were both about 5 pounds at their last appointment a couple of weeks ago. Continue reading
Saying it’s been a very busy week for us is a bit of an understatement. Tomorrow the twins will be a week old! We were discharged from the hospital on Monday so we have been learning how to handle two babies at home with two dogs as well.
We are almost there! This is week 38 for us and the end of the pregnancy part of our journey.

We have made it to the beginning of our 37th week of pregnancy! According to my pregnancy apps the girls are either the size of romaine lettuce, striped skunks, Swiss chard, or a tackle box. This is a major step for us as most twin pregnancies (roughly 60%) are born by 36 weeks. Continue reading

We’ve made it to 33+5 weeks! Every additional day at this point is another day the girls get to put on weight so we are grateful for every day they stay put. We are really hoping they stay put at least another 4 weeks if not all the way to our cut off week. Continue reading
We’ve made it to 31 weeks! Technically we’re at 31+5 weeks but I wanted to wait until after our perinatal specialist appointment today. I am currently seeing the OB/Midwife every week and the perinatal specialist every other week for growth checks. Continue reading
We’ve made it to 27 weeks! One more week until the 3rd trimester officially hits. I am now officially working from home because I don’t fit behind the steering wheel of my car anymore. Continue reading
